Classic Environment 不能啟動。。。。

小弟的PB PISMO出現了一些問題, 煩請各位高人相助，小弟在硬碟建立了兩個partition, 一個放X.1, 一個放OS9.21，然而, 小弟是先裝X.1再裝OS9.21的, 在X.1啟動Classic Environment時, 只見一片空白, 之後就甚麼也沒有了....... 究竟問題出在那裡?

耶，我指的是你的OS X 是不是裝在硬碟的第一個分區啦。不是說你的是不是中文的版本。不過能動應當就是在第一分區吧。

噢...... 我的X.1是裝在二區，9.21裝在三區，而第一區就甚麼也沒裝(本來打算做swap drive的)。

I am experiencing the same problem after installing the OSX security patch.
According to MacNN (http://osx.macnn.com), this problem should be due to that security patch. Apple has notified this problem, but no fix has been found.

好像OS 9要先裝，所以你的OS X要重裝了吧。對了不知你的OS X是不是在第一區呢？

我的是第二區，可輸入中文~~~~ 但upgrade CD卻買了兩套.........

有點奇怪記得本來OS X只能安裝在第一區的吧, 有沒有人知道發生了什麼事還是改進了

只能裝在第一區的是 beige G3
如硬碟超過 8G, 第一區不能大於 8G

Last night, Ross Dixon posted an article on Apple Discussion Forum. That article suggests a solution to fix the Classic Env. hangs after installing recent Security Update.
However that is not an official solution, but works!

yeah, I ran into the same problem a couple of days ago. Since you have already done the security update. Just do it as rEDMAC suggested and you'll be fine.

But I still think we should urge APPLE to fix it ASAP

The solution suggested by Ross Dixon does not need to reinstall the OSX. You just need to re-boot the machine.
