NetInfo Manager 超級慢

以前在 10.0 或者 10.1 時用 NetInfo Manager
設定 root 帳號都很順

今天在已經用一陣子的 10.1.2 上跑 NetInfo
Manager, 結果反應很慢

比方說, 按選單, 游標變成旋轉光碟, 然後
等上好幾分鐘選單才會拉下來

有人知道怎麼回事嗎？

其他的程式反應都快多了

I've had the same problem too.
It was solved by turning off the airport.
I think that it's a good idea to turn off any
wireless network before using net info anyway.

這主要是因為 NetInfo Manager 須要透過 DNS 反查你的 IP Adress 所， 如果你的機器在當時看不到 DNS 的話，因為 NetInfo Manager 遲遲等不到 DNS 的回應，就會發生這樣的現象。

This also can be solved by changing lookupd order in netinfo manager.
