各位好,

我是用linksys的ADSL Router連上internet的
我在PC同Mac機上的internet程式,好似 IE
netscape, windows mediaplayer, real player
無論是mac或者windows的版本都可以經linksys router正常連上internet,但是quicktime就不能,
windows同mac版都無法連上.
請問有何解救. help!!!

oh~?! I also using this rounter, but the Quicktime can online properly, is there any wrong setting in Quicktime preference?

well, what is the DSL router you are using
some internet applications can't run on
it, I found that foxmail, Agent, Free Agent,
quick time can not run with linksys router,
in the beginning, I thought that may be
the problem is came from some wrong setting
on my windows, but quick time does have
mac and PC version, but both of them can
not run, I really dunno why?
and I don't set anything inside...

是設在甚麼地方?
是設在quicktime還是在router上?
因為我在router跟quicktime上都找不到?
而且"trigger"是甚麼東西.

是不是 quicktime setting 沒有設定好﹖
看看 streaming transport 的設定是否有選在 "Use HTTP...".
要不然可以試試把 quicktime preference 丟掉（如果你是用 pro version 的話,別忘了將 registration number備份起來）,重新起動 quicktime 試試看.

但是白老板說quicktime是不須特別的設定就可以了. 我也參考馬克兄的建議, 都不行啊.

I also using linksys 的 ADSL Router.
try to set the Quicktime preference in > preference> Quicktime setting>Streaming Transport> selected -Use UDP, RTSP Port ID n 554

mayb u can try to use Auto Configure. My setting is auto set, I have not set it before. Mayb is the Router problem. Check the --www.macworld.com

now the mac version of QT 5 is solved, it can
view online movie now, but windows version
still can't. hummm...... really dunno why
the setting for them are same. strange!?
