iTunes 2 includes new unicode support that allows Japanese, Korean and Chinese characters — even in the same interface.
以上的文字是在 Apple 的 iTunes 2 網頁中找到的。以後大家可以在 iTunes 2 中看中文歌名了。

However iPOD is not able (at least from Apple) to display chinese characters
"iPod is multilingual
iPod supports English, French, German and Japanese, and can even display different languages simultaneously. So you can view French songs (with native language information tags) alongside German, Japanese and American ones"

I just saw the video on Steve introducing iPod... I saw Kanji character displaying without any problem... my guess is it can display all Unicode characters.
