有位部落客 Michael Nygard 宣稱，他所持有的蘋果新款超薄、缺乏如光碟機等制式配備、隱藏式界面的 MBAir 因為讓美國國土安全部運輸安全局（TSA）的安檢人員大感困惑，因而耽誤到他的起飛時間。

看來 MacBook Air 的 "there is something in the air" 廣告詞實際上是 "there is something (or somebody) NOT in the air."
