今天一位朋友問我今年有沒有要回台灣，我說回去一趟要花好多錢，而且現在有點怕坐飛機，因為台灣這兩天才掉了一架，他馬上反應“China Airline“，我想說，摔飛機這種重大事件，知道是正常的，但沒想到他又補了一句：Seems China Airline crash often!
我都不知道該如何回答～

朋友mail給我的.....我想他對華航也不滿很久了....
現今社會流行低投資高報酬，買股票，彩券都是，
而搭華航班機，則是投資報酬率最高的，理由如下：
(1)：華航機票最便宜（因為大家都不敢坐）.
(2)：華航服務好（因為載客率低,空服人員清閒）.
(3)：華航語言通（因為台語,國語及客語全都通）.
(4)：華航出事率高（因為大家都買保險,中獎率高）.
(5)：華航理賠數多（全世界航空公司出事，華航賠得多，一人約200萬台幣，中共只賠28萬台幣）.
(6)：華航辦喪事風光 （因為華航辦喪事手筆大，不計成本，喪禮如元首駕崩般，政府政要一律來跪拜）.
(7)：華航最貼心（華航一出事，上自業主下至櫃檯小姐均如喪考妣，敬禮陪罪）.
(8)：華航有力量改變閣員（華航一出事，政府大官一定倒楣，上 自總統下至部長，公祭也一定參加，說不定還會親自登門向遺族道歉）.
人生在世，一不小心給車撞死了，說不定連肇事者都找不到，而出國搭華航有上項八大好處，有什麼不敢搭呢？奉勸各位，搭機一定要搭華航，反正是命一條，要走也要走得風風光光...!

This website compiled a table of accident rates of various airline (no. of accidents/mileague).
China Airline appears to be the worst in the Far East, with a score of 10.0 (I'm not sure whether the latest accident is taken into account). The second worst in Asia is Air India, with a score of 6.82.
An airlines need to have a score less than 1.79 to be rated A.
However, this and many other websites warned that such a statics cannot be the sole indication how safe an airline is.
