為什麼水貨會比較便宜?
有啥缺點?

水貨 items are cheaper (sometimes) because companies often use different pricing strategies when it comes to different countries with different income levels and spending habits. If one item is priced at $50 each on the moon (just for the sake of discussion), it might be priced $100 each on Mars. Getting this item from the distributor on Mars might cost the dealers $75 each. If that's the case, it would make a LOT more economical sense to import this item from the moon and sell it on Mars, even if you buy it at full retail price on the moon. Of course, the distributors on Mars would not be happy about it, so they would do things to discourage Mars customers from buying those 水貨 products from the moon. Some of these "discouraging" things they might do would be: Refuse customer service/warranty, rebate for Martian customers, etc.

In short, there's nothing wrong with 水貨. The only thing you have to watch out is the possibility of different standsards (PAL? NTSC?), power adapter designs (110? 220?), software issues (language support), etc. They are cheaper, but you might face compatibility issues, and your products might not be eligible for warranty locally.
