BTW, this year the winners are the South African Durban Harlequins, they beats New Zealand's Taradale in a great match with score of 29 to 21.

我最近真的覺得，Nikon 若沒了 AIS 鏡，大概只剩下他那塊招牌了～

Turn off IS as well if possible, it will definately speed up the AF speed.

D60's AF/AI Servo is not fast at all... then again so is Nikon D100.

I was complaining a few times because I run outta buffer or didn't catch the action I wanted... got reminded by a Nikon pro shooter that it's not the camera, it's the person behind it!

Know what you want to shoot and plan the shot... you will be surprise... maybe a fast body like the 1D or D2H will get me more shots... but since I'm not shooting this for a living, guess my D60 is fine for now... ^^

Anyway something to share... learned this from the guy on Saturday, as the lighting was changing throughout the day:

Instead of using Shutter or Aperture priority mode, I use M mode, we both were using 1/500 sec with ASA/ISO 100/200/400 rating, meter it of the grass... change the apaerture as needed, try to get EV value of + 1/3.

OK, this method will kinda blow the background, but in sports actions you want the subject to the clear and well exposed.
