Was at the zoo today with my recently acquired 1D... here's some photos.
Flamingoes, Phoenicopterus ruber
Inuka the polar bear after a successful hydrogrn peroxide bleached. The usually white fur of Inuka turned green from algae growing in their hollow hair shafts due to Singapore's warm and humid tropical conditions, Ursus maritimus
A green-furred mother Sheba at the Singapore Zoological Gardens. The usually white fur of Sheba turned green from algae growing in their hollow hair shafts due to Singapore's warm and humid tropical conditions, Ursus maritimus
Lion & Lioness, Panthera leo:
A breastfeeding orangutan, Pongo pygmaeus
A juvenile male Mandrill, Mandrillus sphinx
A group of banded mongooses, Mungos mungo
Finally the Hamadryas Baboon, Papio hamadryas hamadryas
Almost all are taken using large JPEG mode, either AWB or CWB via ExpoDisc.
