how to connect OSX to OS9.1 though appletalk?

I have one B/W G3 which installed OSX and one PowerBook G3 (FW) installed OS9.1

when two machine running pure OS9 envirnment they can be connected form choose.

however when B/W G3 running OSX they can't be connect? what is the problem. at PB i can find out the B/WG3, but when i type log-in name and password, i can't connect.......

can anyone help me?

這個不應有問題，在 os 9 的機器可以 chooser 以 appletalk 或 appletalk over ip 連上 os x 的機器，輸入 login name 和密碼後應可看到 volume 的菜單。

log in name is mean when the start up OSX's log-in name? or setting at other place?

when you are in the terminal, type:

whoami

this is usually the short form of your log in name. note that os x allows both the long form and short for the login window.

小弟昨天買了一台二手G3/266，今天迫不及待的就裝上了OS X嚐鮮了（可能對各位並沒有這麼了不起），裝起來還算順利，效能方面我也覺得滿意（可能這是小弟速度最快的機器了）小弟可能是少數幾個使用十二吋的舊螢幕在看的人(640X480)，有些視窗都跑出螢幕 外了（APPLE這點都不替我想想），感覺起來像是在養“可愛的電子寵物”。
開始我的疑問了，我試著讓他去分享APPLE SHARE IP的資源，使用連接網路APPLETALK OVER TCP/IP，可以看得到，但是點選卻出現了錯誤（找不到，沒訊號）。同樣的把一台POWERBOOK G3做檔案共享也是無法連上。我確定有將NETWORKS的APPLETALK打開了。
反向操作讓OS X分享一個檔案夾出來，在ASIP端使用GUEST(?)連入，可以得到一個分享出來的檔案夾，裡頭也有
一個丟入的檔案夾，但是丟進去卻說我沒有權限，關於這方面的網路共享議題不見有人提出過，我該如何解決了！（我可以正常上網）謝謝！ [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

1) Mac OS X 只支援最小 800 x 600 的彩色螢幕。

2) 當你連到 Mac OS X 上的時候，你應該用你在 Mac OS X 機器上的帳號來連接 AppleShare，這樣就不會有權限的問題。為了安全請養成隨手關閉 Guest 帳號的習慣。
