Playing VCD in OS X 10.1?

Hi all,

Anyone knows how to play VCD in OSX 10.1?
Quicktime 5 can't play too, any other third party tools? Please help, thanks!

But, are you surprised? Mac has been the least compatible MultiMedia computer on the mass market for couples of years. Don't think the trend would change with a half-cooked beta OS.

A 500MHz cheapo PC can play MPEG2 clips, VCD, SVCD just fine. My costly spanky G4 533DP (that's 2 spanky 533MHz super computer class G4s, mind you) with the next generation spanky super fast new OS X can't do any of that.

And no, it's not QuitTime(tm)'s fault. It's the OS itself not being able to read VCD disc format.
