It does not work or ScreenRecycler shows 'port already in use' error
If you are using the default port of ScreenRecycler ( port 5900 ) then be sure that:
a) the firewall on both machines do not block that port
b) Apples Remote Desktop or other applications that are using port 5900 are NOT running.
If the client can't connect, try using the ipaddress that ScreenRecycler shows in it's panel ( This for people not using JollysFastVNC ).
Are you using the same port-numbers on the SCREENRECYCLERMAC and CLIENTCOMPUTER ?
If it still does not work and you are sure the two computers are able to establish a network connection to each other. You can use /Applications/Utilites/Network Utility for sending a ping to the remote machine to see if the computers can establish a connection to each other. You can also try a 'lsof -i |grep 5900' in the Terminal to figure out if programs are already using that port.
