LCD for MAC and for PC

請問各位不知道有沒有人知道，有哪幾款LCD可以接MAC又可接PC？還是說只要買一些轉接頭就可解決問題？那要買怎樣的轉接頭呢？

我看上Pillip Brillance series, 可以用來接我的老mac (power machintosh 7100/80) for my kid?

7100/80的接頭是DB15,Pillip Brillance series的接頭還是VGA 15 pins吧?本來可以用VGA(PC) to DB15(MAC) adaptor,分別有dip switch (for multiple resolution setting),

和沒有的

但7100的 video circuit不支援1024x768 display的,還是要找張Nu-bus display card(支援1024x768的)接上

I think I have nu-bus display card in my old mac.

So first I bought an adapter as you pictured in your answer and connected to my PC's monitor. If it works, then I know I can buy any PC compatible LCD for this old mac, right?

Hello Soso,

Before you buy the adaptor, you can check the Nu-Bus display card to see if there are both DB15 & VGA outputs. I just have a look of my PCI Matrox MII, there is VGA output. I know Nu-Bus is mainly a Mac thing, just in case you can save it...

Yes, I'm sure my old mac has the Nu-bus display card (there is also video in/out and DB15 on it.)

What's the model of your PC monitor? And which adaptor did you buy?
7100 does't come with PCI slots, it's a NU-BUS slot only. Your Matrox can't be used with 7100.

我後來和一個朋友要到viewsonic monitor附送的Mac adaptor, 用來接我的7100和pc monitor,一切就OK了,
我想之前買的adaptor中間沒有跳線,所以不合用.
