OS/X, Windows, Linux, Box.com, OneDrive 檔案中的不合法字元與搭配傳輸協定 Samba, NFS 的狀況

Dear all,

在此分享在 NAS 與線上儲存服務的不合法檔案字元：Invalid Characters in File Names

HFS: : ，在 terminal 中無法使用 /
NTFS & ReFS: : ” \ / * ? < > | 與按下 [Ctrl] 同時輸入的字元
Ext4: / NULL
Box.com: : ” \ / * ? < > | & _
OneDrive for Business on Office 365: : ” \ / * ? < > |
OneDrive for SharePoint 2013: ” \ / * ? < > | ~ & { }

目標磁碟使用 NTFS，利用 NFS 傳輸時 : ” \ * ? < > | 會被轉譯。如果來源磁碟在 MacOSX，Finder 會阻止你複製包含 ” \ / * ? < > | 的檔案。

目標磁碟使用 NTFS，利用 Samba 傳輸時，如果來源磁碟在 MacOSX，包含 ” \ / * ? < > | 的檔案可以被順利複製，但是在目標磁碟上，會以 . 呈現。

在此分享取得 W5000 後，針對Thecus Windows Storage Server 2012 R2的內容更新，主要包括有：

1. Thecus Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 的版本有 Essential 與 Standard
2. Essential 不支援 Hyper-V
3. 兩者都可以作為 PDC
4. Storage Space 不同於以往的 Disk Manager，提供 Storage Pool 的觀念管理磁碟
5. 支援 smb 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1
6. NTFS 與 ReFS 的非法字元：: ” \ / * ? < > |

透過網路線直接串接 NAS 與 Mac

Dear all,

在Connect NAS to your Mac Directly with Ethernet的內容增加對 Asustor ADM 的更新，主要包括有：

1. Asustor Control Center 必須在 NAS 開機前執行，會自動找到 IP
2. 手動尋找 system.log 時，Asustor 的 host name 只會紀錄為 <no hostname>，需要逐一測試
3. 如果有時候在 system.log 找不到，請重新啟用 Internet Sharing

在 OS X 與 Linux 之間使用 Thecus NAS 的 NFS 分享檔案

Dear all,

在 ThecusOS 中需要在 NFS 存取權限中指定 Mac 機器的區間範圍。

同時需要在 OS Support 中指定 AIX，與手動編輯 /etc/exports 將 no_root_squash 修改為 all_squash，避免兩方使用不同的權限，導致無法被另一方順利讀取。mount 的路徑請參考 NFS4 Mount Point，需要相對完整的路徑，如：nfs://192.168.1.116/raid0/data/_NAS_NFS_Exports_/NAS_Public

在 OS X 與 Linux 之間使用 Asustor ADM NAS 的 NFS 分享檔案

Dear all,

1. 啟用 Allow connections from non-reserved ports (ports greater than 1024)
2. 在 Asustor ADM 中需要在 NFS 存取權限中指定 Mac 機器的區間範圍。
3. 手動修改 /etc/exports，將既有的 xxx_squash 改為 all_squash 指令，可以避免兩方使用不同的權限，導致無法被另一方順利讀取。
