Advice needed: cheap Mac-compatible SCSI card

if u only need to use those old SCSI device( like zip, scanner etc ), I suggest the Micro Orange 906F SCSI card. Is quite cheap n it support start up, also support Mac deep sleep function. I used it in scanner n CD-RW(yamaha).

我的卡是那種差下去機器就不會sleep的那種，大概就是上面所說得不支援deep sleep funciton.

can try to update to the lastest versiom firewirm. Read the factory paper, see wether the card support the deep sleep function or no.

Deep sleep can saving energy. If ur card doesn't support deep sleep, u will heard there r sound from the fan or the hard disc. In deep sleep mode, totally havenot sound, only the sleep lighting blinking in front of ur Mac... [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]
