iPod 不能顯示中文

我用 OS9.1 & 9.2.1 上載音樂到iPod都不能顯示中文，是不是只有用 OS X上載才可以顯示中文的。

是不是十二月中旬會有中文的升級程式可以下載？

iPod 本來就不能顯示中文啊！
如果你看到有人 Demo 出中文那是日文漢字。

hmmm, now I wonder if I can enter Hangul or not... will let you guys know when I finally got mine...^^

但我連那些日本漢字都不能顯示。據我所知是可以顯示大約二千個中文字的。

Are u doing that in Classic Mac OS? Try that in Mac OS X man... it should just work... try naming a MP3 this "龘" (BIG5 CODE: F9D9, pinyin: ta4)... this is the most complex 漢字 that I can think of... it should just work.

不必輸入那麼複雜的字去測試，只要試試看 iPod 可不可以顯示「你好嗎」即可判定。

Really? Then what about Hangul (韓文字）? Gee, I really want to display all my songs correctly as I entered them:

從照片上可以看出，最後一首歌名裡的「你」是用中文字體去「補上」的，所以 iPod 目前是沒辦法顯示那首歌的名字。

so does that means Hangul is supported? Can you help me check with your iPod? 謝謝

I did a lookup on 你 in 日本語, I can find that 漢字：

Also did a font test on the character in TextEdit, it does display correctly in Japanese fonts...

有沒有注意到那個你字沒有 JIS/Shift-JIS 碼？那表示它不在正常的日文編碼中。顯然iPod只有放 JIS/SJIS 的常用字。

yup, did saw that... the character exist in Unicode and New JIS... damn, hope Apple will address this shortcoming soon... Chinese and Korean market is not that small to ignore.

Do my part? I've done it by not buying iPod.

我也是。Told them to fix it via firmware update of something, I saw a Korean MP3 CD-P that do CJK correctly... it shouldn't be that hard... [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]

我在OS X用iTunes但都不能顯示中文，我所指的是除iPod外，連在OS X的iTunes都不能顯示中文歌名。請問是不是有些特別的setting是我沒有做到的？
我試過下載中文版的iTunes for OS 9.2.1，雖然在iTunes可以看到中文歌名，但當下載到iPod後，全都變了亂碼。
煩請各位大哥幫幫忙，小弟感激萬分！

你可以試試 control-click 歌名去轉換 ID3 Tag, 或是直接更改歌名。

But not all of the 漢字 will be displayed as described above, i.e. no 你 and 嗎 in 你好嗎？ [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]
