I am trying to get java IDL to work on OS X. I found idlj, but I could not find orbd. but i did find tnameserv. are they the same thing?

i am trying to execute "orbd -ORBInitialPort 1050 -ORBInitialHost localhost"
if tnameserv works, what would be the replacing line?

To start tnameserv on the host nameserverhost:
