Sunday... the last day of IT Show, did pop over there just to test out Nikkor's new 70-200 VR lenses. Ended waiting like half an hour for it, apparently the lens went out with one of Nikon's staff for lunch... duh.

During the wait, did borrow a pal's D1x and his 80-200 AF-S and tested it out, here's the only one I captured that afternoon there:



70-200 VR is lighter than 80-200 AF-S... VR is good, it's an old Canon technology called IS...

Anyway, went to the Botanical Garden again after that, here's some of the damselflies, dragonflies, and insects captured (DOF on some of the shots could be better):









Any comments (postive/negative) are most welcomed... ^^

Did those macro shots took by AF-S 70-200 VR as well?
Seems not so bad, but price is bad

And VR is not new on Nikkor, they have 80-400 VR already. However, Canon did that first~

None... macro are done on proper macro lens... my EF 100mm f/2.8 macro USM.

Remember I own and use EOS gears.

Terms of dragonfly, I'll recommend you check out this. This guy really did the great job. I guess that he is from Hong Kong.

不會啊！花個幾百塊買個倒接環就能玩 Macro 啦～
不過 F80 好像不能這樣玩吧
不然同樣花個幾百塊買濾鏡式的 Close Up 也行，但效果比較差就是了～
Raynox DCS-250 效果比較好，但要多花一點錢～
咦！我記得接寫環好像也不貴啊？

IMHO, his DOF on the dragonflies is pretty shallow... But thanks for sharing, I love to see pretty pictures... his pictures are nice to look at, ^^

You can use extension tubes (they've no optics just "air") to achieve macro... not as good as macro lens, not bad.

Canon 500D close up lens is great if you need one for your Nikon gear. My friend was using the 500D with his 80-200 AF-S that day.

Macro lens is a very sharp lens... you can use it for normal usage as well.. take pretty good portrait... ^^

請問杯麵兄您所指的接寫環是不是 oeyvind 兄指的 extension tubes 。如果是的話小弟家裡有一組 for EOS EF lens 用的，不過以前一直不知道是作啥用的，所以一直都沒注意它(連怎麼來的都不知道)。只知道好像加上去之後會縮短對焦距離，且加越多組(一套有三個，每個長度都不一樣)失光的現象就越嚴重。

小弟總以為微距鏡一定要是要有寫 macro 字樣的定焦鏡才叫微距鏡。

看來又上了一課，謝謝兩位前輩指導

謝謝 oeyvind 兄的指導，剛剛把家裡的 extension tube 找出來，發現正是 Kenko 的。一共是三個一組，上面分別寫的是 12mm 20mm 36mm，不過說明書不見了，不知道代表的意義為何。剛剛稍微實驗了一下發現接越長的好像對焦距離越短，過兩天小弟去公園走走試拍看看好了。

要練技術的時候才發現 D-SLR 真的是很省錢

是的，接寫環就是 extension tubes，它可以單獨使用，也可以組合使用，組合愈多，放大倍率愈大，但也像你說的，因為感光距離拉長了，受光會愈少。因為接寫環鏡筒中並無鏡片，所以對畫質影響不大，所以這是除了微距鏡頭之外最佳的微距選擇，而且也不需要多花錢買原廠的。例如我學生時代買了一支便宜的兩倍鏡，因為實在受不了它的畫質，便將中間的鏡片拆下來當接寫環使用。你說你無意中發現有一組 For EOS 的接寫環，看來是老天要你換系統了

有一種使用上較為方便，也不會影響受光的方式就是加在鏡頭前的放大濾鏡，一般有 +1、+2、+3、+4 等四種放大倍率，也可以組合使用，但因為這種 Close Up 濾鏡對畫質影響較大，所以一般建議組合勿超過兩片。這種鏡片可以單片買，也有一組三片裝副廠的還不到一千元台幣，但是最好多花點錢買原廠的品質比較好，對畫質影響也較少，如 Nikon 3T、4T、5T、6T，或是 Tim 說的 Conon 250D、500D 口碑都不錯～

另外還有一種玩法為倒接環，顧名思義就是將鏡頭倒接。基本上倒接環有兩種，一種是將鏡頭倒接在機身，一種為將鏡頭倒接在鏡頭上，Nikon 的型號好像叫 Br xxx 忘記了。但是這種方式比較適合手動機，因為焦距和光圈都動不了，尤其是定焦鏡倒接只能靠相機前後移動來對焦，而且景深非常短，失敗率很高。如果未使用閃燈時，當放大倍率超過 1:1 的時候要增加曝光量。至於放大倍率為兩支鏡長相除，例如先裝了一支 200mm 在機身上後再倒接一隻 50mm，放大倍率約為 200/50=4 倍，我曾經在 300mm 前面在倒接一支 35mm 拿來對鏡頭蓋，結果畫面只能容下一個英文字母再多一點點
