I would like to know how to make your mac full chinese compitable??
When I open my microsoft x, I can't read chinese inside....and even the file name won't show chinese....
Anyone know what I can do??
I bought my ibook in Canada??
is there a chinese OS X??
or like windows, you can download a language package??

There is no Chinese OS X because Mac OS X has about 16 (give or take a few) different languages built-in, including both Traditional and Simplified Chinese. All you have to do is go to System Preferences, select "International", under "Languages:", drag your prefered language to the top then log out and log back in.iceman0918 寫:Hi,

As for Office, as far as I'm concerned it's not very compatible with Chinese. However, you can make Office read and edit Chinese documents by using the language register app that came with it and register Office as Japanese. The downside is that you'll probably get Japanese menus but at least you'll be able to edit and read Chinese documents. I'm not so sure about the naming of Office documents though. Good luck.
