IBM已經出48G 2.5" HD?
真的嗎？
沒多久前去問，還30G的我都訂了好久才有，還訂不到那台5100轉32G的。怎麼會一下子就跳出一台48G的？

這部 48GB 的已經發表一段時間，據說噪音超少，因為採用新的 Fluid Dynamic Bearing (?)。我找過各個郵購站，好像還沒鋪貨。

5400轉的HD是不夠的,畫面會抽格,至少要7200轉才行

對於硬碟轉速的迷思我也有過。
可是事實證明：在我的PowerBook G4/500身上，就算是4200轉的硬碟（內建或外接）都不會掉格。為什麼？我也不知道！就是不會掉。
用iMovie或是FinalCut Pro都不會。

My chinese typing is so slow that in order to speed up the content, I feel better to write in English, my apology. Assumption based on a domestic DV editing system

We know that video sequences are composed of continous individual frames & audio signals (audio will be relatively here). One frame size can be can be ranged from 1 MB to 125 MB, depending on the pixel szie & depth.

In order to have a cost-effective system, the original color components RGB will convert to Luminance & Color Differences systems called YUV. Thus it will saved the bandwidth in first run.

In DV format, since it's a not a full-bandwidth transmission, with compression to reduce the data rate at just 3 MB/sec. With a reasonably good audio quality of 4 audio channels, it takes only 5.1 MB/sec.

Hope there'll be further chance to discuss the DV question.

那不是說Audio是2.1MB/s？CD質素雙軌未壓縮也只有150MB/s，四軌應該最多也只有300KB/s了吧！ [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]
另外，其實YUV Format 每一個pixel是多少bit的？在DV Format是否已經壓縮了？是什麼algorithm？Efficiency如何？ [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
