硬碟外接盒把我的FireWire燒壞了！

我再今年二月初買了New Motion Technology Corporation所出產的3.5吋USB(V1.1) +IEEE1394 Combo的外接盒( http://www.newmotiontech.com/products/3.5_combo_enclosure.html )，當我回家接上我的寶貝iBook後沒兩天竟然發現iBook的FireWire座被壞掉了，而這台外接盒其中的一個FireWire的座也故障了，後來到店家換了另一台相同的外接盒，但發現這新的外接盒風扇噪音同上

我也是遇到和你一樣的情況，我也是用小白，在數月前買了一個2.5" 用oxford900 chip 的combo(usb+FW) 的外接盒，本來一直操作正常，直至近幾星期發生突然不能接上小白的情況，起初以為是900 chip的問題，於是跑去買了個oxford911 chip 的 FW 新外接盒，妻裝好厭碟後依然無法接上小白，但在其他mac上則可接上，操作正常。我巳把這問題請教了很多高手，大既確定應該不是小白有問題，所以我想我的小白應該和你一樣，FW port死掉了，但我會再三查正一下，不然就要把它送去修理了幸好我的小白還在保固期。 [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Maybe not the firewire port have out of order, Have u try the order hardware to work on the ibook port like DV camera.I have the same problem with my Firewire case ( at my old G3 PB work well, but couldn't mount at my ibook 600 , DV Camera well.it can mount to other people G4 PB and some ibook 500!!Some people tell me that maybe the Chip set (OXford 900) on the Firewire case are not work for some period firewire contral inside the new ibook 600Mhz or some other, that why I tried the IMXXXation work, I also have try my DV camera, and someone firewire (iomega), both work smoothly!! and I have tried to put the HD into my firend firewire case . It work?I give up ! maybe buy a new case later!!!!
