How to convert a VCD .dat file?

Hello,
does anyone know anyway to convert a .dat file to either .mov or .avi or any other movie file format???

I've tried 3ivx. I know it's good, but it takes way too long. VCDgear doesn't do it correctly; it kept on giving me a error message saying that it couldn't find a mpeg stream in the .dat file.

Quicktime Pro can save as .mov file. I try before, successful save a whole VCD to HD, as *.mov file.

avi file I don't know can or not? Mayb can try Export>>to avi...Final cut pro can do that... [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
