奇怪的VP4

在執行 ｖｐ4 的ｗｉ98 me additions.exe
一裝好
奇怪 ｗｉｎ 就毀了
都沒辦法開機 超奇怪的
因為我要使用ｍａｃ ｐｃ5 之間的檔案共享
花了好久裝的ｗｉｎ 這樣就毀了
好淒慘呀 不知道是什麼原因呢
請問誰可以救救我呢

Can u pls descript detail alittle bit. Because I also using VP4.0.3 (or 4.0.4 ), but have not meet this problem.

I using Window 98. G4 DP450. VPC used 128mb ram.
If u want to share files between PC n Mac, I think u not need to use VPC, other software can do that. Can try MacSoho (?) etc. But Mac can auto connect to win server, I tried last time...

yuen, are you using the English window 98 from the VPC.I While I had installed the Chinese Windows 98 then installed the additions file, I got the same problem with kyle. I had tried it on my G4 Desktop, iMac and Powerbook, but the same problem occured.

為了安全起見，當我打算嘗試安裝VPC Additions for Win98於Windows ME前便將VPC Drive image做了備份，以備不時之需：可是安裝從未成功......

yes, I using the english version Window 98. Mayb the reason I didn't meet that problem is because that is english version.

Don't know whether the softwindow have such problem or not...

yes, i have the same problem with win98 and me tc. However, Win2k tc is fine and i am using it right now.

我在VPC4行 CWin95在Install了 addition都是有那個問題, 經過調查, additions會破壞system.ini / win.ini (我忘記了是那一個), 在每一句command吃了最後的一個字元, 令原來是 LOAD=BahBah.DLL 變了 LOAD=BahBah.DL

那是我很偶然發現的. 解決方法只是將各行改回正確的置定, 就不用在 Safe Mode也能 Load起 Windows了. [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

可否告知詳細的動作，我找不到你所說的system.ini........我要如何更動那指令，是在執行addition.exe後更改嗎？但執行addition後就不能開機？？

有一個更簡單的方法，就是用VP3的 additions.exe檔案，一開始它會說明這是舊版本，但我測試過完全沒有問題。

以下是網友 digdog 之前好像在 oikos 討論區上還是 BBS 上寫的，我將它貼出來。

>1.先備份 System.ini
>2.執行那個 additions
>3.重新啟動 Windows，開機後按住 F8 回到 DOS 模式
>4.編輯新的 System.ini，對照之前備份的那個檔，把被去掉的字母加回去，存檔。
>5.再重開，就可以回到 Windows 裡面
