Formatting Firewire Ext. HD?

請問擁有外接Firewire HD的網友，你們都是用哪個軟體format HD? 我發現Apple HD setup不能format...

昨天收到從OWC寄來一顆60BG Firewire HD Elite Pro.速度很快，以7200轉的硬碟來說，算是很安靜的硬碟。

可否告知你們用的工具軟體的使用心得？

我用Apple HD setup的清除磁碟即可呀
我也是用這台伽利略的火線外接盒(好像是台灣製的)，花了我2400元台幣
還不錯呢~

除了Apple 磁碟設置外
建議1-RadiaLogic
建議2-Newmotion

我都是用這款(台灣華昇)，新接上電腦後會自動認到新硬碟並會告知要格式化。(硬碟如未格式化) 隨機有一隻光碟可以把你的硬碟format為多個partition。

mips，你用的是那個OS? OS9或以上已可作format FW HD。即使8.6也可裝回FW extension用。

I love this rack very much, it looks good especially the blue harddisk lamp. It will be better if there is a fan behind, 7200 rpm is so hot. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

前面幾篇說Firewire HD可以用Apple Driver Setup format的朋友，我的硬碟真的不行耶。。
如圖

Driver Setup抓的到Firewire硬碟，但是不給Format....

我是用英文系統OS9.1下內建那版Driver Setup

I have bought the same firewire hard disk as you. I have tried to use the drive setup in OS X. It can recognized the firewire hard disk and I have used it to partition my hard diskin to 2 partitions. You can try.
