Super drive, worth the money?

I just need suggestion on whether or not get a powerbook with super drive, I do make DVDs with videos, just not so often, maybe once a while
. Can people tell me about their usage on their super drive? That would be really helpful.

Simply put, when you got one (SuperDrive), you will use it sooner or later... and then you will think you have made a correct choice; If you don't have one, you may regret then.

As you suggested, you DO NEED IT...... once a while.
However, I thought I would use SuperDrive to backup files, but I found extra hard disks will make my life easier. I only use SuperDrive for making DVD (video). Well........once a while.

既然你提到錢
A. 5.25" DVD burner加1394&USB2.0外接盒大約NT$5500
B. 有/無Superdrive的PowerBook機型價差USD200以上
前者唯一的缺點是需要牆上的插座。
後者唯一的優點是可以到處燒片。但你通常還是要備妥插座，以防Powerbook缺電。
其他考量，皆得藉上揭二“唯一“命題推論之。惟“爽度“並不在本文所能處理範圍內。
p.s.方案A再加唯二缺點好了。你要空出一大片桌面放5.25“外接盒跟退片空間。
