Firewire Case

I have bought a firewire case for a CD/RW, I found that there are 2 firewire ports at the back of the case. Does anyone know what is the use of the 2nd port. For 2 Mac to use the box at the same time?

串連其他設備用。你不會以為 Firewire 界面同時只可以連一個周邊吧？ [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

That means I can connect another firewire box such as a hard disk using that port. Will it affect the throughput of the CD/RW or the harddisk?

they share the same bandwidth of a maximum of 400Mbps just as how ATA and SCSI devicees do. [img]images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]
