How to enable iTunes support for my CD-RW?

Can someone tell me if it's possible too hack some files so that iTunes (in X) will support my CD-RW?

I have an IOMEGA CDRW9600INT-A (Firmware 3.02), this is a Plextor PX-W2410TA OEM, for more info try see review here

I can say it's works fine with all standard Apple drivers burning in Finder.app and Disk Copy.app, and also Toast 5.1P2 (under Mac OS X)



However iTunes does not seem to have support for it? Is there anyway for me to edit some files to enable iTunes support for it? I know it's the same as Plextor PX-W2410TA firmware 1.02 except the FIRMWARE ID name... TIA.
