信箱最大可以加到200M --> $90
網路硬碟最大可以加到1G --> $350

好像有點給他貴！

不過看在送掃毒軟體的分上錢還是給他賺。

我覺得Apple的.Mac服務提供了一些不是每個人都用的到的功能，相對之下MSN的hotmail實際多了，更糟糕的是他開始收費了，希望Apple能早日覺醒.... [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img]

Hotmail, in my opnion, is probably the worst of web mail that I've ever used. The spam makes it literaly imposible to use. Also, they just delete all your mails without any notification when your mailbox get spammed.

I think they made a mistake by telling people that they were going to charge $99 every YEAR. Instead, they should say something like $8.25 per MONTH. Come on, $8.25 per month is like my lunch money for a day. [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

NOTE: There is mention of an e-mail-only option buried way down in the Mail Help documents. You can buy additional e-mail accounts for $10 a year each, IF you're a .Mac member. It doesn't say anything about ONLY having an e-mail account, which would be an excellent option for Aunt Eunice in Ithaca. I hope Apple moves quickly and clears up the confusion this whole .Mac announcement has created.

To read this buried tidbit go to the .Mac tab on Apple's site then click on the "Help" on the silver menu bar. That will bring up a new .Mac Help Window. Select 'On Your Desktop' under the Mac.com Email option. Scroll down to the very bottom. There are selections that talk about e-mail-only accounts. This is from the "Converting your .Mac trail account to an email-only account:"

To convert your trial account to e-mail-only, go to www.mac.com. Click Account in the .Mac menu bar, then click the Email Account Management button. Enter the member name and password of the trial account you'd like to convert, then click Convert. Print your account information for future reference, then click Continue.

But, Why i can't Find the "Email Account Management" button??

其實 Apple 這樣改變成收費制是可以理解的。如果只有1%的人用，他們有百萬的收入，但卻少掉99%的資料處理量何樂而不為。換做是你，你願意一直替所有的人做免費，累得半死；還是做少數的工，但至少有可以維

我們不能忘記, Apple主要是一家硬,軟體的製造商! 它沒有義務與責任提供我們網路電郵服務的! Yahoo與Hotmail可沒生產美美有吸引力的品牌電腦~

我想當初Apple推出iTool的免費服務, 也只是現在.Mac的試金石吧!有註冊iTool的使用者應該是Apple跨足網路服務業之前的小白鼠(我也當了)~

說穿了~大微軟與小微軟....商業的世界! 我樂見Apple成長, 但可不是在網路服務這方面！

初步理解是，每個.Mac 會員可以擁有另外十個5MB容量的 @mac.com e-mail account，費用是每個 US$ 10/year。
計數，11人夾份:
第一年每人要付:US$50+100/11=US$13.63。
第二年每人要付:US$100+100/11=US$18.18。
