這是一個 ----- 美式「校園民歌」年代，當時成員有Bob Flick、Michael Kirkland、John Paine與Dick Foley等四位大學生，每個人擁有一副優美嗓子和聲外，也有著迷倒粉絲們的俊俏的外表，使得他們受到樂迷的喜愛。
當時的台灣許多大學生也是經常一把吉他，大家一起哼唱著「離家500哩（500 Miles）」、「Where Have All The Flowers Gone」、「Four Strong Winds」、「Try To Remember」、「Seven Daffodils」.....
由於在下最近一有空閒，就把舊的錄音帶數位化，第一張數位化的錄音帶就是這一張The Brothers Four專輯了，沒想到完成後竟發現市場上有得買CD，然而也不是全無所獲，至少回憶當年黑膠唱片和真空管時代的美聲，在下這次要介紹的是這首感人肺腑的「Seven Daffodils（七朵水仙花）」，這是一首很優美的英文歌，標準求婚情歌， “ 雖然我窮.....但我很體貼浪漫又溫柔呦！！！“
想當年，在下我也如法泡製，把老婆追到手的哩！
