最近不知道為何，非常喜歡聽這首歌：
一開始都會直覺把 "But I Lied" 翻譯成欺騙、謊言。
後來，仔細看看歌詞內容，真的認為 "詞不達意" 才是真正的解釋。

說起 Michael Bolton，當然要提到他與已故女歌手 Laura Branigan 合寫的 "How am I supposed to live without you"（最初收錄在她 1983 年的專輯 "Branigan 2"，後來 Michael 也自唱了一個版本，並將這首曲子收錄在自己 1989 年的 "Soul Provider" 專輯中），這首歌的成功，奠定了 Michael 日後為其他藝人寫曲的基礎。麻辣杯麵 寫:提到 Michael Bolton

"Self Control" 固然有名，但我最喜歡的曲子是她的成名曲 "Gloria"。可惜她 2004 年 8 月因腦瘤去世（享年 47 歲），美妙的歌聲自此成為絕響。好歌手日漸凋零，令人不勝唏噓。老恩 寫:老刀提到 Laura Branigan，不免又讓我想起 Self Control這首歌，
在當時就像是各大夜店(那時稱地下舞廳)的國歌一樣，每晚必放好幾次，
全場跟著歌曲「喔~~喔喔！喔~~喔喔」的叫！
"Gloria" 是首輕快的 Disco 曲。即使今日再聽，仍是首令人回味無窮的好歌。
