Q. Will this software be distributed with any
Pocket PC devices?
A. We are working on this right now. It is our hope to see it
distributed this way, which would obviously be ideal for people
purchasing Pocket PCs for the first time.
Q. Will there be a developer's SDK of some kind?
A. Yes. As developers ourselves, we're keenly aware of the need
for such an architecture that offers as much functionality as
possible.
Q. Will there be support for Outlook 2001 or just Entourage?
A. We are hoping to support Outlook 2001 as well as Entourage.
Q. Will there be support for Now Up-To-Date, Outlook Express, Netscape, etc?
A. We will support as many calendar/contact/PIM products as we can.
However, many products do not have any kind of built-in means of
exposing their data. In such cases, we will provide the developer's SDK
so that companies that wish to participate can create a plugin for
their software. If you personally know of companies that would like
to participate, please ask them to contact us privately.
Q. When will it be ready?
A. As soon as possible! We don't mean to be vague, but there are still
a number of issues to be worked out when it comes to talking with PIMs
and other applications.
Q. Will there be a native OS X version?
A. Yes.
Q. Will the OS X version be ready the same time as the other version(s)?
A. Again, this depends a great deal on some of the other software that
you've asked us to support. For example, there will not be an Outlook 2001
for OS X for some time yet.
Q. Will I be able to install/uninstall software to my Pocket PC via
PocketMac(TM)?
A. Yes.
Q. Will I be able to sync my Word, Excel, mp3, etc. files?
A. Yes. We're working on exactly which file types will be supported and
we'll have more on this for you shortly.
