看起來不錯。可是還是看不出來它的CPU FSB是不是DDR。除了謠傳中的7470外，G4都是用SDR的FSB。如果不是，PC2700的DDR是沒有什麼幫助的。除非OS和driver大量使用DMA。

四個DIMM slots比以前多了一個。總算突破1.5G的界限了。

Audio In終於回來了。前置的耳機孔也比較方便。

也終於可以加第二台五吋的光碟機了。但是SuperDrive寫CD-R/RW的速度還是只有8X/4X。不過至少現在可以自己加一台$30的便宜24X CD-RW了。不算致命。

ATI的Radeon 9000 Pro是不錯的顯示卡。雖然不如史上最強的9700，不過比GeForce 4MX好太多了。

從規格上看的確有進步。現在可以把OS X搞好一點嗎？尤其是這個神經輸入法...

嗯，剛剛才發現1.25GHz的版本其實還要快兩個月（六到八週）才會出貨...

可以裝四台ATA drive，兩個Channel上各兩台。這兩個Channel卻是不一樣的：一個是ATA-100，另外一個是ATA-66。不懂為什麼蘋果要這樣做。因為這樣就不能直接用內建的ATA來組RAID了。其實也不是不能，應該說不適 X。因為RAID最好是用在不同Channel（但是同樣速度）上的drive拼起來。

大概是要留一條生路給那兩家做RAID133卡的公司和鼓勵消費，促進經濟吧...

PS. 為什麼我打的「不適合」都會變成「不適 X」？？？

換成32/12/40/16只要$100左右。

呵呵呵，乳白 G3 已經用了快五年，現在是考慮新機的季節了。我決定不等 AMD 版的 Mac 了！

這玩意兒不只CPU的Front Side Bus還是只有SDR，而且1.3GB/s的頻寬是兩顆G4共用的！它的DDR RAM bus有2.7GB/s的頻寬，除了用來唬硬體規格被遠拋在廿世紀的Mac用戶外，不知道要拿來做什麼。

Balanced system design My A**. 完全就和跛腳的XServe一樣的拼裝貨。

其他廠的系統設計都是CPU的頻寬大於或等於記憶體次系統的頻寬。大家都在傷腦筋要如何提昇記憶體次系統的頻寬。還是蘋果比較厲害，來一招斧底抽薪：讓CPU頻寬效率維持在上一世紀的水準。還讓兩顆 CPU在同一個FSB上攪和。

真是Think Different。哦，對不起，現在是Bait了。哦，不對。是Switch...

蘋果要是乖乖的繼續用SDRAM的話，還不會這麼丟臉。

怎麼還是過渡機種呀
等明年春季大展看有沒有新的架構出來吧
對於今年已不抱希望了

蘋果要讓人掏錢買硬體的話
也該出些讓人滿意的機子
G5也不知道讓用戶等了幾年了
雖然桌上型已改用DDR RAM了
最討厭的是book還是得用貴貴的SDRAM
偏偏用的mac軟體又吃記憶體吃的凶

等等...呀等呀等...
