Chinese OS X 10.1 coming next week???

Actually the chinese version (Tier 2 Language) is out already. I get a new upgrade CD (OSX 10.1) from one of the Apple Shop in HK today and I installed it on top of my existing OSX. It got an option for you to install the additional localization language including traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. So try to get a new version of upgrade CD...

I just got my copy from a local Apple Retailer... I looked in the "Optional Install" folder, but see now Traditional Chinese Locialization stuff... [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img] Guess I'm not lucky enough!

Just have to wait now!

For people who have the "tier-2" version of 10.1, what's the build number??? Obviously, it's not 5G64...

我的upgrade CD也有中文套件，可選用中文介面和中文輸入，感覺是中英文版合一了。
Upgrade CD版本是5J34。

阿～～原來台灣還沒看到喔？乖乖～～那得感謝蟑螂啦～～我已經裝上去玩了兩三天了說～～感覺上速度沒英文板快（差距不大）～～對了～～我這鍋是直接安裝的版本說～～完整中文界面～～版本為～～ 5L14

簡單黎講，5J34 係 Tier2，已經有中文輸入法。做左 Software Update 後就會變成 5L14。

而 5L14 唔一定有中文輸入法，要再裝埋個 CLK 先有中文。而餉 24 號之後果隻 upgrade CD 可能已經將 CLK 放埋入去。

即係話 Tier2 玩完，5L14 加上 CLK 係最新既中文 OSX 啦。

5L14 is only the build number after doing the Security update. I don't think it has anything to do with tier 2 language kits.

You can find out your "actual" build number in System Profiler. I'm pretty sure it's a different one the number showing in Startup Disk control panel.

My questions is: when can we download the freaking upgrade?

我安裝了二次
1.只upgrade mac ox 10.03 to 10.1 is 5L34
2.full install upgrade cd ,the version is 5L14

i dont know why!?

If you have access to any the 10.1 Tier 2 CD or the full 5L14 CD, you can use the IME_extract.sh here to extract the IME and copy them to your normal Tier 1 OS... and have full IME... [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Hi Rayse: Can you kindly tell us what's the part number on the package (5G64 is M8621Z/A and part on CD is 1Z691-3184-A), I'm trying to get the Tier 2 CD from Apple here but they have no clue... but say will help me if I can give them a part number.
