 蘋果公司日前在其官網上以新聞稿方式公開了 iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus 的首日預訂銷售數量，這篇新聞稿的最後按照慣例加上了蘋果自己的簡介。這是一般大公司都有的做法，但值得蘋果產品愛用者注意的是，由於近年來 iOS 產品如 iPhone 與 iPad 的狂銷熱賣，加上這次 Apple Watch 與 Apple Pay 的震撼問世，蘋果的簡介從這一次的新聞稿開始業已修改，與先前的大不相同。

從這個比較，我們得以發現，蘋果將產品陳述的先後順序改變，現在的版本終於以近年來蘋果開拓市場、斬獲利潤的主力： iPhone / iPad 與 App Store 為主力產品，並力推最新出爐的 Apple Watch 。然後談到近年來賴以翻身的 iPod 與 iTunes ；接著把 iOS 、 Apple Pay 與 iCloud 等項目帶進來；最後才介紹原來的 Mac 與 OS X ，與強調「免費」的 iWork 、 iMovie 等軟體。
或許一些老 Mac 發燒友不太習慣這樣的安排，甚至於會拿目前蘋果官網上「Mac」的項目還是排在「iPhone」與「iPad」之前（左方），念著蘋果還是以 Mac 為尊。但⋯一葉知秋，蘋果如此修正後的新版本自家簡介，才是目前大眾所認知的「蘋果」。
