Google 在今天正式推出了 Mac OS X 版本的 Google Earth 地圖工具程式。基本上 Google Earth 等於是進階版的 Google Maps，藉由與 Google 伺服主機連線，Google Earth 可以即時的在您的 Mac 上顯示地圖、高解析衛星空照圖以及地標等等資訊。您也可以利用 Google Earth 來查找地址以及並提供導航功能。除此之外 Google Earth 裡還有許多有趣的功能，例如在大都市中顯示高樓大廈，或者是顯示 Google 社群的地標。

Google Earth 是個免費軟體，在 Google 的 Google Earth 網頁中您將可以找到 Mac OS X 版本的下載檔案。
